MISSION
It is the mission of World of Fun to build a collaborative learning community that celebrates the strengths of all infants, toddlers, and preschool learners.
PHILOSOPHY
Here at World of Fun Child Care Center, we believe that children deserve the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe, enriching environment. We believe learning happens through positive relationships, exploration, experiences, and a sense of belonging. Our talented, trustworthy educational professionals and support staff are committed to helping children develop emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically. We use a comprehensive, evidenced base curriculum that promotes exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills. We embrace the philosophy of inclusion while taking into account children’s abilities, cultural backgrounds, language, and interest. While the emphasis is on children, family involvement is encouraged and supported.
Why World of Fun Early Learning Center?
Caring Staff
Our talented, trustworthy educational professionals and support staff are committed to helping your child develop to their maximum potential. Our low teacher-to-student ratio allow teachers to focus on the individual learning styles and needs of each individual child.
Educational Program
The InvestiGator Club® is the original investigation-based early childhood curriculum that awakens the scientist and explorer in every child. The award winning curriculum focuses on STEM, art, language and literacy, physical development, and family engagement.
Nutrition Program
We believe nutrition and healthy eating habits are fundamental skills for young children. It is our goal to provide a variety of nutritious, healthy meals and snacks that will promote growth and healthy lifestyles. We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
Health and Safety
From drop-off to pick-up, the health, safety, and well-being of our families and staff is our top priority. We still closely follow guidance from the CDC, as well as state and local officials, as we take extreme care to maintain our safe, healthy school environment.
Enhanced Health Practices: We've strengthened our already rigorous cleanliness and hygiene practices (including more frequent, longer hand washing; cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and high-touch items in classrooms).
Security: Security starts at the door. Parents/guardians have to use a PIN to gain entry into the building. Children are released only to those individuals who have been listed on the emergency form.
Parent Notifications and Communication: Parents/guardians are kept informed via email or through their personal parent portal. The app also provides a unique window into your child's day-to-day activities.
